Scholarships

Apply for a scholarship! When it's time to head to NIRI SWRC in New Orleans, August 18-20, we've decided to be more spirited with our NIRI SWRC Scholarship Contest, using Social Media to decide the winners.

Winners will receive conference registration and two night's hotel accommodations. Thank you Georgeson for being our scholarship sponsor!

Scholarship application criteria:
• The scholarship is only available to IR practitioners with a current NIRI membership (if you want to join NIRI, sign up at www.niri.org)
• Winners will be judged on their 140 character (or less) submission explaining why you deserve a conference scholarship
• Include your NIRI membership number on your submission
• Submissions must be received no later than July 27, 2010, 5:00 PM CST
• Submit your 140 character submission electronically to Liz Kline, lizk@eisenberginc.com.

On July 28, 2010, the judging will take place using Social Media to tally the votes. The entries will be posted on NIRI SWRC 2010's Twitter (@niriswrc) and Facebook account.

Voting is open to anyone, so we encourage you to get your Friends and Followers to Follow NIRI SWRC on Twitter and become a Fan on Facebook - And Vote!

The winners will be announced on August 9, 2010. The winner will be required to pay for any costs incurred other than the registration fee and two night’s hotel room during the conference.
